Tanaka Farms Irvine California
Tanaka Farm is a great place to take the kids. Located in Irvine California, Tanaka is one of the few remaining farms left in Orange County. Depending on the season they will have organic strawberries, tomatoes, watermelon or pumpkins. The main attractions for kids are the tractor pulled farm tours. The tour takes you out into the fields where your guide explains all about the farm and how the different vegetables are grown. Kids really enjoy the ride and it is also a great learning experience for them. Reservations are recommended for the tours especially for groups. For mom the Tanaka Farm produce stand is stocked up with fresh fruits and vegetables and I’m sure you will find something to take back home. Directions: Exit 405 at University and head West.
