The Redwood Valley railway is located at the south end of Tilden Park, at the intersection of Grizzly Peak Blvd and Lomas Cantadas Rd in Berkeley, California. The railway has four steam engines and has been located in Tilden Park since 1952. The Redwood Valley maintains a dozen or so wooden gondolas, built similar to those found on 36″ narrow-gauge lines in the American West.
The Santa Ana zoo opened in 1952 on land donated by local citrus grower Joseph Prentice. The zoo features include 90 species, 249 individuals, and 35 exhibits. The Santa Ana zoo has many things to keep kids interested including elephant rides, a miniature train ride, and the Crean family farm and children zoo.
