Tom’s Farms has been around since 1974 when Tom bought some land in Temescal Canyon and opened up a produce stand. At first the farm was just for selling fresh fruits and vegetables. Over the years the farm has developed into a family destination for folks from all over Southern California. Tanaka Farm is a great place to take the kids. Located in Irvine California, Tanaka is one of the few remaining farms left in Orange County. Depending on the season they will have organic strawberries, tomatoes, watermelon or pumpkins. The main attractions for kids are the tractor pulled farm tours. The tour takes you out into the fields where your guide explains all about the farm and how the different vegetables are grown.
