Surfing Santa to Visit Seaport Village San Diego
Its that time of the year again the Holiday season is upon us. Up and down the state of California the season is celebrated with special events. San Diego”s Seaport Village has a special event coming up perfect for families. Surfing for holiday fun will bring at Seaport Village will happen November and December for warm-weather cheer. Visitors to the bayside shopping center will find outdoor amusement, unique holiday shopping, an LED holiday light exchange, tree lighting ceremony and festive entertainment highlighted by Surfing Santa at Seaport Village on Saturday, Nov. 28. Fun seekers this holiday season can expect:
Surfing Santa at Seaport Village Saturday, Nov. 28, beginning at 1 p.m.: Kids and adults alike will greet San Diego’s board short-wearing Santa as he arrives with a splash at Seaport Village around 1 p.m. Following a lively parade along the boardwalk, visitors can take photos surfing with Santa. Throughout the day, patrons can exchange up to three strands of their old holiday lights for energy efficient strands courtesy of SDG&E. The outdoor center will also have other spirited entertainment including kids crafts, live holiday tunes, stilt walkers and more.
Seaport Village is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Stores will observe special holiday hours on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m
Seaport Village is located at West Harbor Drive and Pacific Highway, adjacent to Embarcadero Park North in San Diego. Visitors receive two hours of free validated parking with any purchase.
