Santa Ana Zoo Train

The Santa Ana zoo opened in 1952 on land donated by local citrus grower Joseph Prentice. The zoo features include 90 species, 249 individuals, and 35 exhibits. The Santa Ana zoo has many things to keep kids interested including elephant rides, a miniature train ride, and the Crean family farm and children zoo. After strolling around the zoo you can relax and enjoy the gardens while the kids climb around the play area next to the snack bar. The Santa Ana Zoo is the perfect place to introduce younger children to the wonders of the zoo. Your visit will take up about half a day and is very reasonably priced.
