Orange Empire Railway Museum

Orange Empire Railway Museum has plenty of things to do that will keep the family busy all day long. The museum railway operates every weekend and on most major holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Museum grounds contain numerous buildings, parks and outdoor areas to explore. One ticket will let you ride as many times as you like. Main line trains leave about every 30 minutes. There is also a local line which takes visitors on a loop around the museum. On special occasions the museum staff runs an old fashion steam train on the main line track. Bring along a picnic lunch and sit under one of the many shady trees. The gift shop located in the station has lot of train books and gifts the kids will enjoy. If you kids love trains they will love visiting the wonderful museum in Perris, California.
