Irvine Regional Park

For just a few dollars Irvine Regional Park is a great place to spend the day with family and friends. Bring along a picnic and some bicycles and your are all set for a fun day in the park. The originated in the early 1900s when it was called Orange County Park. Over the years numerous improvements have been made including two lakes, a zoo, riding stables and the park train. Irvine Park has a rich history, and contains some of the oldest Coast Live Oaks in Orange County. There are many shady areas for picnics and miles of paved trails to ride or hike on. Kid will love riding on the Irvine Park Railroad and tickets only cost $4.00 Per Person for both Kids and Adults. You can also rent Bikes & Paddle Boats at the old Boathouse by the lake. For a family on a budget Irvine Regional Parks is fun choice for a fun day.

Irvine Regional Park is located in Santiago Canyon, six miles east of the City of Orange. To reach the park, take the Newport Freeway (#55) to the Chapman Avenue East off ramp. Head east on Chapman for approximately five miles. Turn left on Jamboree for one fourth a mile to the park entrance.

Fall – Winter Hours: 6:00am to 6:00pm
Spring – Summer Hours: 6:00am to 9:00pm
