Outdoors kids will enjoy the trike tracks, outdoor climbers and performances and other activities at the Stone Hollow Amphitheater. At kidsplace everything is interactive, kids are encouraged to run and jump and climb and make noise. The museum is a great place for children to burn off some steam. Orange Empire Railway Museum

Orange Empire Railway Museum
Orange Empire Railway Museum has plenty of things to do that will keep the family busy all day long. The museum railway operates every weekend and on most major holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Museum grounds contain numerous buildings, parks and outdoor areas to explore. One ticket will let you ride as many times as you like. Main line trains leave about every 30 minutes. There is also a local line which takes visitors on a loop around the museum. On special occasions the museum staff runs an old fashion steam train on the main line track. Bring along a picnic lunch and sit under one of the many shady trees. The gift shop located in the station has lot of train books and gifts the kids will enjoy. If you kids love trains they will love visiting the wonderful museum in Perris, California. Orange Empire Railway Museum is located at 2201 S. “A” St. in the City of Perris. Access to the Museum Grounds is free and an all day train pass is ten dollars. more pictures
