Tanaka Farms Strawberry Tours for 2010 – Price includes a tour around the farm in a tractor pulled wagon, the different fruits and vegetables you get to taste on the farm, and a one pound basket of strawberries to pick and take home. Weekend Strawberry Tours you do not need a reservation. Weekday tours reservations are required during the week. Call 949-653-2100 ext 204. Farm Tours cost $13 per person ages 2 and under are free. Weekend tour times are every half hour from 9:30am-2:30pm. Watermelon Tours begin July 3, 2010 and include a wagon ride around the farm, taste some fruits and vegetables grown on the farm and you go pick your own watermelon.
Cookout Tour Tanaka Farms – Take this walking tour around the farm, pick your own veggies, prepare the vegetables you picked, let us cook, enjoy an appetizer salad and 20 minutes later enjoy your delicious lunch that you prepared. For dessert we will go into the field and pick your own strawberries to eat.

The Science of Gingerbread Holiday Festival is being held at the discovery science center in Santa Ana. The event is daily from November 23, 2009 to January 3, 2010.  Hands on activities include Kitchen Science Activities, “Science of Snow” Stage Show and Decorating Demonstrations.  Discovery Science Center is seeking out delectable creativity from children, adults, businesses, and organizations. Try your hand at creating a delicious masterpiece out of gingerbread, icing, and other edibles in this year’s gingerbread competition.
