Tanaka Farm is located in Irvine California tucked between a golf course and tracts of homes. The farm is a fun place to visit with the main attraction being the tractor pulled farm tours. During season U-Pick strawberries and pumpkins are available. On the one hour tour you will see different fruits and vegetables growing plus get a chance to taste some some of them. Tanka farm also has it’s own produce stand where mom can stock up on fresh organic vegetables. The tours are very popular and it’s a good idea to call ahead an reserve a spot. The Griffith Park Observatory has been  restored to better than original condition and is open for visitors.  One of Los Angeles major attractions and perhaps one of the most kid friendly. There are three floors of hands on exhibits to explore plus the Planetarium show. Admission and parking are with the exception of the Planetarium which has a small charge. Kids will love this place and will keep busy for several hours. Mom and Dad can enjoy views of the Los Angels skyline and the Hollywood hills. Be sure to bring along a camera and take a family picture with the Hollywood sign in the background. There is a small parking lot at the observatory which fills up fast.
