California Family Destination Guide

The Descanso Gardens Enchanted Railroad runs on a loop through the gardens in La Cañada Flintridge, California. the train runs on 7 1/2″ track and passengers sit saddle style on the trains passenger cars. The vegetation grows very close to the right-of-way in places and the conductor gives warning passengers were not to rock back and forth while the train is moving. The Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana California is a wonderful place for the family to visit.  With loads exhibits and attractions, the science center will keep everyone interested for hours. Outside the huge solar Cube is the Dino Quest area with a walk inside giant two-story tall Dinosaur. Inside are hands-on exhibits, which let visitors participate in live science experiments.
