Old Faithful Geyser Calistoga

California has it’s own version of Old Faithful in the Northern California town of Calistoga. Every 30 minutes or so the geyser shoots a stream of 350-degree Fahrenheit water 60 feet into the air. The Calistoga geyser is only one of three “old faithful’s” in the world.  The grounds around the geyser feature a large picnic area where familys can  bring their own  picnic lunches. Santa Ana Zoo Train

The Santa Ana zoo opened in 1952 on land donated by local citrus grower Joseph Prentice. The zoo features include 90 species, 249 individuals, and 35 exhibits. The Santa Ana zoo has many things to keep kids interested including elephant rides, a miniature train ride, and the Crean family farm and children zoo.
